We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Nornalup Homestead stands. It is part of the Minang Noongar Boodjar Nation. We recognise the continued connection to the land, waters and cultural places of this beautiful place, and acknowledge sovereignty was never ceded. We are grateful for the careful custodianship of the plants, animals and places for thousands of generations. We respect all Minang Elders both those past and present, the emerging leaders and all First Nations people and their ancestors.
